Harlan Coben (1962 -), an American contemporary writer, was born in New Jersey in 1962, an American Jew, and graduated from Amster College with a major in political science.
Harlan Coburn is the first American to win three literary awards: the Allen Poe Prize for Literature, the Shams Prize for Literature and the Anthony Prize for Literature.
He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children. He is the best seller writer of three generations of former US presidents Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama, and the first American writer to win the most authoritative Edgar Allan Poe Award, the Shams Award and the Anthony Award. The first American to win the book Oscar (British Book of the Year Award).
