Harlan Coben (1962 -), an American contemporary writer, was born in New Jersey in 1962, an American Jew, and graduated from Amster College with a major in political science.

He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children. He is the best seller writer of three generations of former US presidents Clinton, George W.
