About the Author

Aldo Sohm is one of the most respected and acclaimed sommeliers in the world. He was named the best sommelier in Austria by Austrian Sommelier Association 4 times, the best sommelier in America by American Sommelier Association in 2007, and the best sommelier in the world by World Sommelier Association (WSA) in 2008.

He has worked with the famous chef Eric Ripert for more than ten years and is now the wine director of Le Bernardin, a 3-starĀ MichelinĀ restaurant. He also founded Aldo Sohm Wine Bar named himself.

Christine Muhlke is the contributing editor of Bon AppƩtit, the founder of Bureau X food consulting company, and the founder of newsletter Xtine. She co-authored recipes with Eric Ripert, David Kinch, and Eric Warner.
